Courses in 2009

In 2009 courses will be run primarily for people training as volunteer facilitators for Cerebral Palsy Africa (www.cerebralpalsyafrica.org.uk). This is because Jean is working for them for the year. However Kennett will be taking an active part so there will be lots of help for people with other interests and needs. 

One week APT Course in Hampshire

This course gives time to learn and practice some of the different techniques used particularly to make furniture. You can be creative but there is the interesting challenge to make the design strong and able to take the pressure and tensions of everyday use. Measuring and designing included. Participants keep items made.

APT Weekend - 'Taster Course' 

This course gives some ideas and practise in the techniques. Good for making craft items

DATES: Dates can be arranged please do ring (01420 563 741) or email.

Courses are necessarily small due to space but this gives flexibility.      
The weekend is a good way to learn the basic principles and get started on practical work. Weekend workshops can also focus on different topics e.g. household items for income generation, sculpture with APT. You will be able to see what others have made.

TIME: from Friday evening at 7pm to Sunday afternoon around 4pm 

COST: £130/person - includes lunches and Saturday evening meal if required
