A workshop in the UK- recycling paper and cardboard to make furniture!

Checking for size and thinking about the decorations for a child's table and chair

Yes - it looks good!

The ultimate aim is to help children with disabilities in developing countries.

The workshop in the UK will help through People

  • Learning to make Paper furniture
  • trying out designs
  • making teaching aids
  • training local people and people from projects helping children with disabilities
  • improving workshop efficiency in these hand-made products
  • making templates of designs for income generation
  • being environmentally friendly with first hand creative recycling!

All this is being done with Cerebral Palsy Africa (CPA) a Scottish charity doing training for people working to help children with cerebral palsy. Therapy and equipment making training are given so that the work can be sustainably done by local people.

Profits made through the sale of Paper Furniture products will go to helping projects already working with children with cerebral palsy to make the necessary equipment locally in Africa
